Here is where I’ll be posting most of the previous Ensidia blog entries (redone, of course) and new work on what is essentially the “Guide to Discipline”. I’ve decided to keep it on a separate page to the main blog, so that you can read as much or as little of it as you want. I’ll also divide it up into topics, so that you can dip in and out as you feel necessary.
Planned topics;
1. Mechanics (how the class plays)
2. Talent builds
3. Stat prioritisation (not so much a “gear list”, more a general overview of important stats)
4. Spells
5. Raid healing
6. Naxx Bosses and OS
7. Ulduar Bosses
Note that Malygos isn’t included in this yet. The reason for this is that – embarrassingly enough – while my guild has downed Siege/Antechamber of Ulduar as well as Hodir and Thorim, we still haven’t done Malygos. People can’t really be bothered – it’s old content, nobody really likes the ideas behind the fight and everyone would rather do something that involved progression rather than finishing off “old” content.
While Blizzard have succeeded in making raiding accessible to everyone, it’s been done at the expense of content like Naxx, OS and Malygos becoming outdated very quickly. Not only is there Ulduar gear that’s a tier above that stuff, but there’s hardmode gear that’s even better. Why wait before jumping into Ulduar unless you don’t have a guild to do it with?
Anyway, I could write something on Malygos but it would just be me saying what ten other guides and Bosskillers and Wowhead etc. have already told you. So I won’t.
A final note: I’m still at uni right now! How does this affect my blog? It means I can’t take in-game screenshots, so I’m reduced to text/internet-pics only. To compensate, I’ll be making entries shorter, snappier and punctuated with more bullet points etc. Those of you who followed my Ensidia blog, as a result, may notice a slight change in my writing style.
This page has the following sub pages.
